A $5 million gift to Ohio State University will help pay the costs so 50 needy students a year can study abroad, the university announced yesterday.
Former Coach Inc. executive Keith Monda and his wife, Linda, have committed to create an “ international experience scholarship” fund over the next five years. When fully funded, it will provide 50 financially needy students in the College of Arts and Sciences with $6,000 on average to pay for travel, housing, program fees and other costs associated with living and studying in a foreign country.
