Web Advertising Options
The IIEPassport web site http://www.IIEPassport.org
allows study abroad program providers to reach a dynamic audience of prospective study abroad students
at their first port of call - the Internet.
Sponsorship takes the form of preferred placement in the directory listings, combined
with exposure in Ad Word (keyword) sponsorship boxes.
Advertisers may purchase Ad Words representing countries, subjects, and
languages. If you purchase the Ad Word "biology", for example, your program will receive preferred positioning in the listings when user searches IIEPassport for biology programs. Advertisers can purchase multiple instances of an Ad Word. Each instance
purchased of a given Ad Word increases the advertiser's score. The advertiser with the highest score for any particular search will appear at the top of the list of search results. The advertiser with the next highest score will be second, and so on. Program providers who have not purchased any Ad Words will appear below all advertisers in the search results.
In addition, when you purchase one or more instances of an Ad Word, your program is placed in rotation to be shown in an Ad Word Sponsorship Block on the right side of the results page (see figure), providing additional high-profile exposure for your program. The Whole Program Package is the easy, simplest way to give your program high visibility on IIEPassport.org. All advertising options include:
Premium Sponsorships allow program providers to appear across the top of the page in colored boxes, above the search listings and Ad Word Sponsorship Boxes (see figure). Premium Sponsorships are sold by rotations or country keywords. For more information, please call 1-877-4040-EDU.
Country of the Month Sponsorship
Each month, IIEPassport features a new country online and in brochures that are mailed to advisers. Sponsorship of this feature is available on a monthly basis for a program offered in the featured country. The advertised program receives a link from the Country of the Month paragraph on the IIEPassport home page and the country detail page.
